Don't hold Sandlin. Gotta win the first one. Don't use our ace against the national seed. Powers has been fantastic all year, especially in rowdy environments. He has so much experience playing in big games. He can handle the pressure.


Yes, I'm salty. Berry plays emotions too much. "I believe in my players" instead of looking at reality and seeing how they've performed and knowing that if we actually want to win this regional, we have to use our ace to get to 2-0. But nah, we believe in all our pitchers. Every last one of them. I'm sure we'll get to see Keyes, Tweedy, and Nelms today as well because why not?

Our fans are batshit crazy. But did any of them actually say that Powers has been good in “rowdy” environments. Rowdiest road trip this year has been what???

Powers and Powell are adequate against directional schools and snowbirds but are BP when you play actual teams in a regional.

This is every USM/SEC game in a regional.
