She also improved on her (already) MAC record time to 4:16:34.

Truly amazing!

There has to be some Courage Award nationally that she should win. I’m not sure anyone saw her as a potential MAC record holder BEFORE the incident. So inspiring!

Hopefully, she is allowed to concentrate on the running first because I imagine, national journalists will be all over this. What an ambassador for burn victims and not just.

With national exposure maybe one less person will follow through on a stupid thought. Kids are getting very bad ideas from these youtube pranks and it doesn't seem as if there is much push-back exposure or maybe that's my pessimist talking? I'd hate to be a kid in these days, with the internet crap they see as if it is normal.

Ghoulardi - now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Never liked that show or the character. He just seemed too creepy for me. I also seem to remember him cracking a joke about what Jackie Kennedy got for Christmas (in 1963). Don't remember it being said, but the rumor alone made it forbidden to watch in our house.

I had heard that rumor - but never actually saw it. I did a search and the only thing I could find is that he blew up plastic soldiers on air. Doesn't mean it didn't happen because I do remember it being a big deal when I was a kid - but usually the rumors with him outweighed what he actually did.

Anyway - the NCAA championships are on starting on Wednesday and running through Saturday night for both the women and men. I have it set to record so hopefully I get a chance to watch Janelle run.
