Kansas in 2008-09: Went 27-8 overall and 14-3 against league opponents. Earned a No. 3 seed and made the Sweet 16.
North Carolina in 2009-10: Went 20-17 overall and 5-12 against league opponents. Failed to reach the NCAA Tournament.
Kentucky in 2012-13: Went 21-12 overall and 12-7 against league opponents. Failed to reach the NCAA Tournament.

well, Nova looks like they're going to at least make the tourney off of this, but will likely fare in the tourney similar to what the other 4 teams to make the tourney- out by sweet 16 round. Could be the lowest seed of any of the teams.

Nova has some tricks up their sleeves. I can see them winning the BE tourney and improving their current expected seeding

I think though there's a cap on how high the seed can be. Probably no better than a 5 seed so staring a 1 seed pretty squarely in the sweet 16 round.....
