But Hogg and quite a few other idiots don't believe that. They can shove gun control up their a$$
Gun control is not an effective way to reduce gun violence. Never has worked. Including UK and Australia.
But something needs to be done. This is getting out of hand. Sane people need to come forward with ideas that will work, or else we will be vulnerable to hysteria-induced stupidity.
Now is the time for the right and the NRA to get behind a an approach that will work. Otherwise, we are going to end up cutting the points off our knives and still killing thousands too many every year.
They have. It's called fixing NICS and enforcing the gun laws already on the books.

LOL. He only ran to take advantage of a little known law that allows a candidate for Federal office uncensored access to say whatever the candidate wants in paid advertising. Minor candidate. No worries, the Dems will pick up the Governors office in NM and hold the 2 CDs they hold, as well as both Senate seats, and close to 2/3rds of the seats in both houses of the NM Statehouse. And the Dems are running a reasonably competitive race in CD 3, much of which is coincidental with the El Paso media market, where there will be lots of pro-Dem advertising this year. I think that the dynamics in CD3 are probably a bit too far this year for the Dems, but there's a real race there.
After his F the NRA ad came out a political science prof at UNM said it was a desperation move.

I don't disagree with you. He wasn't going anywhere because the NM Dems are running a very deep field of highly qualified candidates. He was trying to appeal to the Dem base to try and get through the primary. 70% plus of Dem voters in NM agree with his sentiment, but not so much that we're going to have him be the nominee versus a more seasoned and far better funded candidate.

It may be a deep field, but the NM Democratic Party only wanted three or four candidates to run, so a couple didn't have the parties support. Not the first time. In the last Governors race, Dems didn't support one candidate, who ended up winning in the primary. They still didn't support him and he lost.

And Martinez was an exceptionally strong candidate for the NM GOP. They're fresh out of those candidates. Mainly because someone like Gary Johnson or Susana Martinez probably can't win a GOP Primary anymore.

Gary King seemed content to run on his fathers name, (Father being a former NM Governor), went through 3 campaign managers and never had a clear message about what he would do for NM.

RE: F the NRA Candidate Drops Out of Race
I joined the NRA in direct response to the little prick David Hogg and his goose-stepping parade to disarm law biding Americans. These kids eat Tide Pods, snort condoms and yet are experts on the US Constitution.
