So FAU will play Columbia. We faced Columbia in a four-game series in the start of the year. The series was split but Columbia outscored us 27-21, and then they played Rice for a single game and lost by nine runs. Columbia, that is. In fact Columbia had lost the last two of our series and was the beginning of an eight-game losing streak for the Lions including the game with Rice.

And I guess now is a good time to say that other than the conference Arkansas is a team I follow, so it will be great actually seeing them face the conference champion Eagles, which is something the Razorbacks have never been in SEC baseball.

Did FAU win or lose? Last I heard they were up 2-0.

They lost 5-3.

Then they won 11-2, eliminating Columbia.

I just saw UNCW eliminate Ohio State on a walk-off hit in 13 Innings, 4-3.

This why a semi-fair and open NCAA tournament is so fun.....to see how the "mighty" has fallen...too bad football only holds their party for the select few.

That'll do it for USM. Eagles get crushed by DBU. 9-4 the final....but that was with a couple of garbage runs at the end to make it look more respectable.

So, FAU finished up the game after the rain delay, 12-7 over Jacksonville.

I will be watching to see FAU beat UF tomorrow.
