Oklahoma announced FAU - Oklahoma game will be on FOX the network. First time FAU will be on an over the air national network. Can the season get here any sooner?

Noon on Sept 1 in Oklahoma. Wow! Talk about a health hazard. Depth will win this game, so I give the nod to OK.

Depth was always going to be an issue...August in South Florida is very pleasant and I am sure we will have a problem with it.

Yeah these 1st games of the season for the dominate programs will be broadcast especially OU coming off a playoff season.

These games typically end up bad for the opposing G5 schools, Tech has been a victim of a few. Dont get your hopes up, depth will be a major factor and with FAU trick play, hurry up style that will give the adv to OU

I would FAU chances later in the season, with a fresh OU team, I think will beat the spread.
Remember FAU Navy game, that was running team that dominated FAU, OU will do the same with much better players

Wonder if Air Force will be on fs1 or fox sports at all? Probably that and Marshall have some shots at those.

Glad we are having fewer money games now. Probably not a great shot vs Oklahoma this year or Ohio state next year but at least we no longer have 2 in the same season. And at least we can compete with all conference USA teams now which is very important

That was FAU's first game under this regime. If I were a betting man, I would say FAU will cover, but still lose by about 20. FAU brings almost everyone back on D and has a lot of talent on O. OKlahoma had lost a few players, including their Heisman QB.

Not to shift focus but at 9:30 CT flip over to FS1 and watch UTSA and Herm Edwards' Sun Devils play.
Also our game 2 weeks later with K-State is set for 3 on FSN.

I don't think they will but I dream of the day when Charlotte is in a place where we can dream. Hat's off to FAU for getting aggressive with football and putting themselves in this position.

I think FAU had a road game at #1 Alabama once but I do not recall if this was on National TV

FAU will lose badly to Oklahoma

A W here though would put you in the drivers seat for the Access Bowl and as much as reporters like to discuss Kiffin FAU would be in the playoff conversation. It's not a steep hill to climb with Oklahoma it's more like a Mt Everest but if you can get a W a lot of possibilities open up. A win over the Bammers would have been a one-off, that's why I'm thinking this is the biggest game y'all have ever had.
