#1 ranked tracked team in the nation, top 3 favorite to win the team national title (houston)

(would be the #1 favorite if our best sprinter wasnt running injured and missed qualifying for the 200 by .002 seconds in regionals, he won the individual national championship for the 200 last year)

Got to add this one too:

UCF wins national title in Equestrian

Quote:Molly Murtha recently won UCF’s first equestrian national championship title at Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association’s National Championship Horse Show in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

She took home the title in the individual novice equitation on the flat category, which is one of the most difficult individual titles to win at the championships because of the size of the competition field. In the division, riders must use a horse assigned to them and are judged on their ability to drive or restrain the animal. Murtha competed against 16 other riders vying for the judges’ scores.

“The hardest part is figuring out the horse quickly and effectively since every single one is different,” says Murtha, who is a member of UCF’s equestrian team. With 33 national team or individual titles since 2002, UCF has one of the most successful sport club programs in the nation.

The Pirates are the defending National Club Baseball Association National Champions. ECU is once again in the NCBA World Series, knocking off Fla State 7-5 and Iowa State 12-1 this week. The Pirates are in the final 4 playing Grand Canyon today. The American (or the Pirates) could win two world series in one year.

EDIT: Pirates defeated GCU 3-1. Elimination game vs GCU today. Winner plays Penn State in the championship game.
