They need to go back to 64. and no conf can have more than 1/3 its members in, AAC gets 4 max. ACC, SEC, n B10 get 5

Expanding the NCAA Tourney field will tend to render the regular season less relevant. If they are interested in improving "postseason opportunities" like football, then double the number of NIT slots.

Yes, drop the tourney back to 64 and expand the NIT to 64.

Oh wait, except this is probably about milking more money out of the NCAAT and additional NIT games don't really do that.

Give all 72 teams a Zuppke Award. Qualify any team that has won a game or, at least tried real hard. Shouldn't Arkansas @ Pine Bluff, the Citadel and Colgate, etc, etc, etc have an equal chance to win an NCAA Championship?

How 'bout the ACC propose to have all their schools quit cheating?

That sounds like an absolutely splendid proposal that the ACC could make.

They do, you see if they win their conference tournament or conference (depending on the conference) they get to go to a big ol' tournament where the NCAA awards a national title to the winner. Amazingly more than 5 conferences have made it to the finals and have championships. Oh wait looking at all the other NCAA sports they do it too and have the same results, well except FBS.

Jeez you know what I also noticed they give out the money based on who earned it in every other sport, except FBS where 5 conference get the most money no matter what. . . Hunh, guess we know why they don't have a true national champion.

I propose not hiring prostitutes by the ACC.

Not sure that's a fair trade for 4 more below .500 ACC teams whining to squeeze in.

Our 4 North Carolina neighbors in the ACC are hoping to create a tournament spot for ECU. 03-yawn

Conference tournaments already do that. The top 25 teams at least in the NIT can make the Sweet 16. Expand it to 80.

Calling for a limit on bids for ACC teams is ridiculous: the fact one of those last to get in ACC teams (sitting at or below .500% in the conference) the last three years has made the F4 and Sweet 16. Which is better than the AAC champion.

No need to put more teams in.

Just hold a tournament for each conference and let the winner in......

Your troll game is weak kid.

It's the off season or I am sure someone would have already ran you off the board. I can't be bothered with it right now and our latest purge took out the most aggressive posters on here or somebody would have burnt you up after your second post.

Not really into picking on people who are clueless so let me educate you before Pony or another moderator notices you and bounces you.

First the NCAA doesn't declare a national championship in football.

In basketball currently every team has a chance to qualify through their conference or conference tournament automatic berth.

Michigan St vs Indiana St is what kicked off the whole shebang for the road the final four being a big deal. Thats not UCLA vs Kentucky.

People watch this tournament for the Cinderella stories. See Butler's back to back championships, VCU or George Washington's final four runs. Sister Jean and Loyola Chicago's run this year or UMBC's upset of 1 seed Virginia.

Hell man just watch any one shining moment video any year and the biggest moments tend to be some little school taking down a big one.

Now run off and play on the Bama board you crawled out of and when you come back think up a better name the dumb shocker. . .

Oklahoma must have really streamlined their unemployment compensation requirements. You seem to have quite a bit of free time....

I always make time for my groupies, but only children get autographs . . TU4ever is for the kids!

By the way do you know what your boss is doing? Probably not or you wouldn't be running your mouth.

Anything else I can help you with? Do you know water is wet or the sky is blue?

Eat your vitamins kid, hit the gym, say your prayers and come back when you get your weight up.
