I wouldn't want OSU or Stanford. Very dangerous teams. I'll take Stetson, ECU, Texas Tech, or Minnesota. Reality is we'll probably be in Oxford.

Oregon State and Stanford are the 2 best teams from what I have seen this year. I don't want USM to go to either of those sites.

No doubt. Every team hosting is good. I just look at it from an atmosphere. Lubbock has good fan attendance, but their atmosphere is far from what I'd call 'intimidating'.

i don't think they will send us across the country (hope not). Im thinking Texas, Clemson or ECU. If they just want to do it by region / location, then Arkansas mayyyyybe UM.

Actually.....they love screwing Ole Ms and USM so very well may put us together.

So, 400 miles is the max for busing. Otherwise, the NCAA has to fly us. They typically want to bus as many as possible. We haven’t been outside of that radius since at least 1999.

Oxford or Tallahassee are the only ones within 400. So, those two are the most likely. Not much reason to think it would be one or the other.

This is probably the fewest number of sites within that radius in a long time, as 3-5 teams out of Ole Miss, Bama, Houston, Rice, A$M, LSU, State, GTech, Alabama, and Auburn typically host. More teams from the Deep South and Florida will have to fly. One of those could be us.

So, on one hand, it is more predictable. I would say that there’s an 80% chance we go to Oxford or Tally. On, the other hand, this is the rare instance in which there is a significant chance that we get shipped off. I would welcome a West Coast, Carolina, or Midwest regional. SEC West teams seem to intimidate us.

My nightmare scenario is that we go to FSU Or another ACC and and have to play an SEC 3-seed.

I think ECU, Stetson, and Coastal are off the table because it’s rare for them to put 2 mid-majors as the top 2 seeds in a regional. 2015 Houston regional is the only time I can remember that happening.

my preference is ol' piss poo bears.....for obvious reasons, it always has been.....

however, my main script consists of our starting pitching remains solid, we continue to generate solid run production, play defense to our max potential, study film and take more pitches as req'd,.............................this team is good enough to do that....

therefore, I don't care where we go.....

if you want to win, you have the capacity to beat 'em all to see the end of the tunnel...

if you don't, you either weren't good enough, or choked too many chickens along the way....

They hit extremely well. They pitch well. A lot of momentum.

They aren’t invincible but they are a legit top 5 team playing as well as they have all season

I think we'll be a #2, but I don't think it's a sure thing. There haven't been many #2s with an RPI of 40+ in the past.

Missouri State and Arkansas are almost always paired up due to location. I would expect them to be arkansas’ 2.

Yeah, they sent them there last year. I'm thinking they might split them up this year, though.

Pretty sure Rice and SELA were sent to LSU B2B years in 2016 and 2017, so there is a precedent for repeat trips.
