I recall years ago that one of these rated BG last because “it’s a ghost town on weekends. Everyone goes to Toledo, only twenty miles away.” I thought the notion of people driving forty miles to party in Toledo was a hoot but BG was pretty dead back then.

Well that seals it. EMU must go.

I hear KSU and EMU have the lowest attendance at their parties ....

EMU traded Pepsi for Bud Light as sponsorship to meet the minimum attendance to be a FBS party school.

I’m skeptical about these rankings, I just don’t see how schools like Clemson, Texas Tech, UCF, and Iowa State can be behind a good part of the MAC schools.

EMU has alot of commuter students and those that live on campus go back to the metro Detroit area on weekends. I recall that many of us who stayed on weekends partied in Ann Arbor. I assume that still is the case.

I hit some great house parties at EMU back in my day, including a party where a guy fell off of a second story balcony and landed in a bush, unharmed, and then ran back upstairs and kept drinking. Another guy had a crazy Latino girlfriend that took a small camping axe to his door ala the Shining.

UofM-EMU party ranking.

I worry more about our athletes who go back to Detroit to party. We had some who played hard, partied hard (in Detroit) and didn't study hard in either Ypsi or Detroit.

Their days at EMU as a student-athlete didn't last long.

P.S. I think our coach wanted to build a wall between Washtenaw and Wayne counties (okay, maybe not). Detroit was bad news for these guys.

Toledo's party crowd is now a downtown mixture of college students, grads from many places, and people who work downtown staying there to drink. Campus has 1 real college bar nowadays. I wish it was different but downtown is making good strides. BG people have no where to go but their bar strip or stay home then walk off their front porch and get a MIP/ Public Intox.

I was at a party at Toledo and was really hitting it off with this chick. At least until there was a break and she walked away for something and some Toledo guys came over and told me she had herpes.

What is the MAC going to do to get these numbers up? As a FBS conference we should have no school above 150!! I think we need to set up an inter-conference party arrangement with the top schools. There is no reason we shouldn't be a two bid beer pong league.

Kent has built a new police station in preparation for all of the shenanigans.

In the early 90's I remember Playboy magazine rating NIU in the top 25 party schools nationally.

I'm sure we got some extra love as Playboy's HQ was Chicago, but how far we've fallen none-the-less ;(

Miami doing our part, don't blame us for the MAC's low ratings. Nothing like Beat the Clock in Uptown Oxford on a Saturday, though whether or not you'd want to relive those memories is debatable.
