Good Ol' Demoncraps! Heck, they've been on the wrong side of the law since Abraham Lincoln. They with the Catholic Church, the Demoncraps, and I believe the Irish were complicit on Abe's murder. Read Father Chinquys biography. Very interesting. Only thing about his bio is that in it he's always crying, (what a crybaby), gets tiresome. The bio can be accessed through the internet, you have to look for it though.

RE: Spying Old Hat for Dems, FBI
John E. Hoover was made top-dog at FBI under Calvin Coolidge, and continued for 48 years under Herbert Hoover (no relation), FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, and 3+ years with Nixon. That is just an incredible run and I don't see how anyone will ever be able to match it in a high-level national office. Truman, Kennedy, and Nixon all wanted to fire him, but were terrified of how Hoover could retaliate. LBJ actually got along very well with Hoover. He shared Hoover's vision of how America should be, and of the FBI's ideal role within it. Hoover was always willing to go the extra mile to help LBJ with all the "little favors" that a President sometimes needs done. LBJ likewise was always willing to carry Hoover's water in the eternal budget/oversight-battles on Capitol Hill.

Martha Mitchell -- the boozy basket-case married to a US Attorney General (he later went to prison) -- once introduced J. Edgar Hoover at a public event by saying "If you've seen one FBI Director, you've seen 'em all."

It really gets to the heart of things. It’s a higher game. They hate President Trump sooo bad! It’s like “who gives a pluck about the rest of the world”
That the FBI cares so little about world events and the rest of the world that they would mettle in this?!

Who exactly is running things?

It’s already to late if you you don’t know!

This is also why it’s ridiculous to act like these accusations are an unwarranted attack on an institution incapable of impropriety. There is a long and colorful history of improper behaviors by various arms of the Justice Department. Hoover was an absolute freakshow of corruption. The idea that the FBI can competently investigate the FBI while the chief players being investigated are in charge of the investigation is laughable.

Scorching article on FBI/media. Some interesting information.

"...As we now know, the informant is Stefan Halper, a former classmate of Bill Clinton’s at Oxford University who worked in the Nixon, Ford, and Reagan administrations. Halper is known for his good connections in intelligence circles. His father-in-law was Ray Cline, former deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Halper is also reported to have led the 1980 Ronald Reagan campaign team that collected intelligence on sitting U.S. President Jimmy Carter’s foreign policy....

That portions of the American national security apparatus would put their considerable powers—surveillance, spying, legal pressure—at the service of a partisan political campaign is a sign that something very big is broken in Washington. Our Founding Fathers would not be surprised to learn that the post-9/11 surveillance and spying apparatus built to protect Americans from al-Qaeda has now become a political tool that targets Americans for partisan purposes. That the rest of us are surprised is a sign that we have stopped taking the U.S. Constitution as seriously as we should.
The damage done to the American press is equally large. Since the November 2016 presidential election, a financially imperiled media industry gambled its remaining prestige on Russiagate. Yet after nearly a year and a half filled with thousands of stories feeding the Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy, last week still represented a landmark moment in American journalism. The New York Times, which proudly published the Pentagon Papers, provided cover for an espionage operation against a presidential campaign...."

"If he wins, we'll all hang." Well lets see to it:

https://usa.spectator.co.uk/2018/05/for-...collusion/

"...There are details yet to come, but here is the bottom line, the irreducible minimum. A cabal of CIA and FBI operatives, including the Director of the CIA, John Brennan, along with other members of the intelligence “community,” prominently including James Clapper, Director of National Intelligence, and various members of the Obama administration, colluded to undermine Donald Trump’s campaign.
Like almost everyone else, they assumed that Hillary Clinton was a shoo-in, so they were careless about covering their tracks. If Hillary had won, the department of Justice would have been her Department of Justice, John Brennan would still be head of the CIA, and the public would never have known about the spies, the set-ups, the skulduggery…."
