Bayou Bucket extended
Two additional games between Rice and Houston are set for September 24, 2022 at TDECU Stadium and September 9, 2023 at Rice Stadium. Rice will also host Lamar on September 26, 2020.

I hope we can go back to scheduling the military academies on a regular basis. Peer institutions, academically....usually great games to attend...home and away. And, hopefully, in a season or two, we will be much more competitive with the likes of Army and Navy.

Navy has little incentive to schedule us given that they only have one free game per year (8 AAC + 2 Army/AF + ND).

Air Force, and Army especially, are much more realistic.

Air Force has an opening in 2021 for a game in Colorado Springs. They have 2 openings each in 2023 and 2024. Army also is available in 2023 and 2024.
