Dont look now, but the Washington Post has an article on the JMU Womans lax big 4 run.

"The run is the latest achievement on the national stage for the Dukes' athletics programs. Since the start of the last school year, James Madison reached back to back FCS title games, winning one, and was a site for ESPNs College Game Day, .

The softball team finish 52-8 and hosted an NCAA regional last year ( after hosting a regional and super regional the year before), then followed it this spring by going 43-14 and earning an at large bid to the tournament. "

Someone is taking notice.

Bout freakin time. Last weekend they had a 1/4 page article on the Maryland Womens lacrosse team and their game but absolutely zippo about the Lady Dukes beating #6 seed Florida. There are times when I think the Post doesn't even know that Harrisonburg is part of VA.

Was the above in todays issue of the Post or on the online version?

Go Dukes!!

Might as well slide it by them that JMU made the Final Four in MBB a few years ago. 03-lmfao

I'm not going to say that we can get publicity even though we are in the CAA.
Instead...
In spite of the CAA, we are still able to receive national recognition.

RE: WaPo Pub
Thought there was a new bar or restaurant of note when I saw thread title, glad to hear it was for some WP publicity instead.
