These threads are getting 150-200 views and about 20 poll votes in 24 hours. Please stop being a lame lurger and post your thoughts. It makes it much more fun.

Thank you for voting in the Week 7 thread. UAB received 19 votes, UTEP received 2 votes. UAB is now 7-1 on the season. The rest is copied and pasted from the previous thread but formatted to reflect UTSA. Please let me know if there's any other information you'd like to see in future weeks posts. I'll typically post the next game between 10am-noon CT the following day.

This is an offseason topic I've seen done elsewhere and really enjoyed so I thought I'd bring it here. Each day I'll post UAB's matchup with some information pertaining to the game, and you aselect who you think will win. If you'd like to play bonus, add your predictions for the following questions:

RE: 2018 Football Season Poll: Week 9 - UAB (7-1) vs UTSA
This is a tough one to pick. I had no idea UTSA's defense was so good last season. Also can't believe their coordinator left being a DC to just be an assistant at Alabama. I went with UAB but I'm thinking it's low scoring.

UAB 24 UTSA 14
Attendance will be 28,000 - I wanted to go with something higher - there's sure to be more attention after a 7-1 start and the weather should be great - but it's hard to predict it with Auburn and Alabama playing big games that weekend.

This one is hard to call, as UTSA's defense was so good last year, and UAB had the benefit of playing a injury plagued UTSA. I still think UAB wins this one 21-17.

I have us with two losses at this point. I think this one will be a struggle all the way with a late FG to win it. I won't be surprised by a loss here.

UTSA = 28
UAB = 29 (5 FGs) last second 48 yarder to win it.

MVP = Duh 5 FGs

Will the defense hold up injurywise at this point is a concern.
