Does the stadium have a corporate sponsor with naming rights? If so, what is? If not, why not?

I'm kinda surprised that the city hasn't done this yet. I know it wouldn't be a blockbuster deal by any means, but they could possibly get up to $1 Million per year based on the recent market.

Of course no one is donating money to the City for naming rights to the building.

I looked at it before I posted. None of the examples seemed to involve a non-Power 5 playing in a city owned stadium.

BTW, it seems like you think we can get a deal like we got for FedEx Park. That’s not likely until a new football stadium is built. As long as the Liberty Bowl is city owned, can’t see a deal working out for naming rights.

The City won't see any of the revenue from naming rights. Steve Hogan, CEO of Florida Citrus Sports, a nonprofit which stages the bowl games at the stadium, told the Orlando Sentinel his organization is entitled to the revenue.

True, but not the whole story. Florida Citrus gave money for the stadium upgrade, and somehow got naming rights in exchange for that.

"Steve Hogan, the CEO of Florida Citrus Sports, the private nonprofit that stages the bowls, said his organization earned the right to the naming-rights money when it contributed $20 million to the stadium's $207 million renovation.

He said naming rights are just a way for them to "claw back" some of the money."
