Kendal is pitching and retires the side after a lead off single.

Nice presentation to Wayne prior to the start of the USM-UAB game. I caught the tail end of it. Framed bunch of pictures.

I still prefer using student broadcasters. Some were really good, and it gave them all useful experience (e.g. Yardley)

Doesn’t hurt to ask. If I wasn’t worried about the rain I’d rather play USM in the final. As is, it would be nice for UAB to survive the other bracket

And cheaper than a permanent IMG employee. Someone ought to pitch the idea to IMG

I don't know if there are enough qualified and interested students to use student broadcasters. I think a good intermediate step would be to have a student join JP as a color analyst during home games.

Congrats on a good opening to the tournament. I'm a little concerned we pitched our best 3 pitchers but Moss might be a good candidate to start the next game regardless.

USM leads UAB 1-0 in the 6th. They are pitching Sandlin. There is some heavy rain about 30-40 miles north of Biloxi but it seems to be mostly staying in the same spot so maybe we'll get lucky with no more delays today.

Might want to tune in. Apparently, one of the players runs "like a giselle," according to the announcer. I wouldn't want to miss that!

Time to hit the "mute" button.
