Whaaaaaaaa? So no winners day off, and games are being played at the same time. Stinks for the 14 people that bought tickets to this thing.

Also, what is Robin Roberts field? Should I be angry? hungry? aroused?

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The schedule for the American Athletic Conference Baseball Championship presented by Visit St. Pete/Clearwater has been adjusted again due to projected inclement weather in the Tampa Bay area this week.

All of the games originally slated for Thursday, May 24, have been moved to Wednesday, May 23, putting six games on the Wednesday schedule. Games will run concurrently at 9 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. ET from both Spectrum Field and Robin Roberts Field, which is located in the complex adjacent to Spectrum Field.

Live coverage of the games from Spectrum Field will be provided by the American Digital Network Plus, the conference's new home for live events on the Facebook platform. Wednesday’s games from Robin Roberts Field will not have live video coverage.

Yea, it's a spring training complex, so there are a surplus of fields. I guess that is why you would hold the tournament at a place where a MLB trains in the spring.

Good, forward thinking.

Trying to find the record for longest 9 inning college game though....

Longest I can find 4 hours and 21 minutes, Miami/Tennessee 2001 CWS. That may just be a CWS record though.

The longest college baseball game was played between Texas and Boston College on May 30, 2009, in a regional NCAA Division I Baseball Championship tournament game at Austin, Texas. Texas won the game, 3-2, in 25 innings as the visiting team under NCAA tournament rules on home-team declaration during a tournament. The game lasted seven hours and three minutes.

I'd love to find the longest 9 inning affair though. 25 innings though is ridiculous.

Per ECU Instagram the conference is trying to have some sort of “limited streaming” of the games at Robin Roberts field
