And the new IPF.

Sorry for all the posts but there has been a lot going on the last few years at Arkansas State. I spared you the new video board, the hotel and convention center next to the stadium and the endzone seating.

This is the final design as presented today by Populus. Dirt is already being moved and streets in and around the Uptown District are officially closed!

The Dome Update (Phase 1 through Sep 20)

Tension Ring built around the crown of the roof.

Steel Trusses are hopefully installed by the end of the year. The Dome closes O/A March 1st until mid September to install the new roof, roof drainage, LED lighting and a new center roof mounted scoreboard

Whole lot of good stuff going on at various campuses through out the country. What's going on with the new Temple Football Stadium. Has it been quietly dropped from the program and university. Nothing out of the Temple fans and nothing out of Philadelphia on the news either. Is Temple staying in the LINC or is Temple going to build a new stadium. 07-coffee3

Quote:Clemson's Board of Trustees is set to vote on an estimated $68.7 million worth of stadium improvements for Death Valley, which will be targeted to be completed by summer 2021.
On the proposed agenda are a videoboard that's set to over quadruple in size on the East end zone, improvements to the sound system and lighting, additional premium and regular seating areas that would increase the capacity of Memorial Stadium to 83,350 and football locker room renovations.

Ya'll need to invest some money in fixing the effects of the extreme angle of your upper decks and how you get folks off campus after a game. A wife with Vertigo and 2 hours in a line to get out of Parking lot C-1 at 12:30 am are the only real downsides I saw personally.

Yes, love Clemson and their gameday is second to none, but I jogged up to the top row of upper deck and felt dizziness/nauseas and I’m in decent shape, lol. Idk how elderly people do it. It’s not the steep angle of forty-something rows on its own, but it comes after walking over a mile to and around the stadium. Some steps are loose too. UD concessions need improvement for the best program in the country. They should permit overnight parking for night games given it takes hours to get out.

Also, they need an undercover sting for counterfeit scalpers. That stadium is a haven for scam artists with fake tickets being sold at the corner of the stadium feet from cops.

Clemson has the best gameday experience, but it comes at the price of the biggest hassle. They just need to minimize the hassle part.

Looks great. I am hoping UAB gets an AAC invite.

How close is this to UAB's campus?
