Gnats got into our pitchers eyes

Roads beginning to be closed off due to flooding around Boone and this is nowhere close to being over. May be a bad weekend for baseball in Boone.

When there's a peak, there's a valley.....unless you're talking about our baseball performance this year. Mostly valleys there.

GSU and GS are playing now in Statesboro. If Southern wins, AState will clinch a tournament spot, leaving the last spot between GSU and ULM. If GSU wins things get crazy.

Probably would've been in really good shape to sweep State, but Brian Eichhorn left the game after 2 innings in the first with an injury and Shuman has been off and that has thrown things into a tailspin.

The good news for us and StAte and us is that we've made State go through a ton of pitches (200+ last night and 87 tonight after just 3 innings).

BTW, as I type this State walked in two runs for GS to re-take the lead.

Thanks to some timely MAV errors in the 9th and 10th innings, TXST downs Mav 5-1 in 10.

The win gives the Cats the series, going for the sweep tomorrow.
