Minimal to no chance he'll stay I realize but imagine the lineup next year with Reynolds, Wallner and Blaylock
Word is that Blaylock may be used as more of a stopper/closer. Not sure how much he'll hit. If he comes out to fall practice and is mashing, then he could crack the lineup. If not, he could be a multi-inning stopper sorta like Sandlin was in 2016 and 2017.
I just heard this last week. Figured he'd be a middle of the order guy that could hit 10+ homers.

Their season average coming into the weekend was 151
here's my post from earlier this week about their attendance:
- Marshall averages 151 for home games
- We had a higher announced attendance for last night's game vs UNO (3,485) than they've had combined for all 19 home games (2,872)
- We had more for our opening weekend series vs Ms State (14,906) than they've had all season home and away combined in 46 total games (14,689)

And now we know. USM tweeted that they will play the 4:00 pm game Wednesday on day 1 in Biloxi.
I was typing my response when you posted this.....that surprises me.....
like you said, now we know and go from there....
The biggest downside to playing the late game is weather or extra inning games earlier in the day could put you starting at 9 pm or later. At least with the 4:00 pm game if delays happen you are starting at 6 or 7 pm possibly. Then the 7 pm game that starts at say 9 pm goes long you’re looking at not finishing until after midnight.
I get both sides of the argument.....
Sacrilege! You remember what board you're on Stank? Old Timers disease got ya?
