RE: AP/Coaches poll predictions
I’m not a big Houston fan, but looking at their off-season, they might be really good . Got some very good transfers, and I could see( coug fans may disagree) the tenn transfer dormandy(?) taking over at qb mid season, with the Utah receiver; and briles running the offense and really lightning it up. I wish Memphis played them early cuz I believe they are gonna be really good.

99% of houston fans disagree...most of us want king and think king could be really special

he was a espn 300, despite being a 5'10 qb, what he did in high school was dominant, while playing in the hardest division in texas (ps he holds the record for most career passing tds in the history of texas hs football), he was also a state champion in track

note that last year when he was playing he hadnt seen an offseason at qb yet (wasnt an early enrollee, and was injured coming off surgery/while also being a wr after his freshmen season) and he still put up 70% comp%, 14 total tds to only 2 turnovers as a qb..while playing in our crap old offense

he throws a deadly accurate deap ball with 4.4-ish type speed. he's added 15lbs of muscle just in the offseaseon "so far"..and he completely dominated the spring game.

the only way i see the Tennessee kid taking snaps is from injury or blowouts..

the sbnation people said it best on their aac pdocast a few months ago...if briles does anything close to what he has done at his other schools, people will come in talking about ed but will finish the season talking about king

and yes i have put on my cougar red glasses and seeing the sunshine

UCf/USF/Memphis should all be getting votes to start the season right? Obviously Houston, Temple, Navy should also but I won't hold my breath.

Has AAC ever started a season with 3 top 25/RV?
