I think the cover misses in a "You Never Even Call Me By My Name" kind of way.

We went that route, but there's two problems with it. First, although my plot is pretty much unique, books with superficially similar ideas all have something along the lines of what's here and they have sold well.

But second, and bigger, is that the more stuff you put on the cover the more confusing the thumbnail becomes. And 97% of sales will come from thumbnails on the various sites.

However, we have alternates set up in case this one doesn't work and can change it rapidly. The graphics also made a big difference.
