.... having a man crush? I wouldn't know but I'll take your word for it.
Now go polish your tuba Stuart, longingly stare into your reflection off it and keep telling yourself you're good enough, insightful enough and Peej will be returning the crush anytime now. 07-coffee3

And once again, nobody brings him up by name except the people who "hate" him.

It truly is a weird obsession.

I guess denial is a part of the illness. 03-shhhh Or is it more delusion? I guess it doesn't matter. It's painful to watch.

You must be kidding. Quite a stretch but read into it how you wish. 03-melodramatic

And actually the first reference to Fleck was you, Major. See post #4:

That was strictly in context (and factual) of Spillane's senior season, not about your man crush's coaching while he was here.

You brought Fleck up in post 4.

I did not.

End of discussion dude.

But yeah, keep acting like "we're" obsessed when it's clear who has the obsession. 03-zzz

Personally I read Hoek's fleck-stained post more as a jab at the current coaching staff... insinuating that the previous regime was more capable at getting the best out of the athletes than Lester and Co.

Bottom-line...a Bronco, who made two of the biggest plays in WMU football history, is getting an opportunity in the NFL. Good for him! Good for WMU!

I wish Spillane the best and am proud he is a Bronco!

Wasn’t intended to be a jab even. Just an observation that Spillane seems to perform given the proper motivation. Look at his past and current trajectory and it seems like a given. But people are always going to take it out of context and try to make it into something it’s not. (cough, PJ, cough).

Exactly. He's not as sly as he thinks he is.

And when called on it, he denies it to high heaven.

Yup, but the previous 5 posts before it (yours included) surely had nothing to do with "he who won't be named" 03-shhhh

RE: Spillane signs with Titans
Spillane played well enough in 2017 to deserve a tryout on an NFL team... He wasn't as around the ball making the huge plays in every game like we seemed to get used to... but he wasn't a total bump on a log out there... I noticed he seemed to lose a little of that fire we saw from him in 2016 but that was the same guy ... so I hope he makes the most of this opportunity! He's still a Bronco!

As for Lester and Co with regard to the previous regime... Its too early to tell... I give him two more seasons to prove his worth as the coach of this program... I was one of the "benefit of the doubt" fans last year... if the team takes a dump out there in 2018 I may start sharpening the tines on my pitchfork...

I hope Spillane makes the most of this opportunity because he's a Bronco and was a big contributor to our 2016 MAC championship and Cotton Bowl berth.

But he can't rely on a coach to motivate him, better be highly self-motivated, because that's how it works at that level.

Every one of your posts consists of a “but” statement... filled with editorialized insight, speculation and conjecture. Instead, how about a hearty congrats to a guy that gave 4 years of dedication, through blood, sweat and tears, to WMU. Our 8th leading tackler of all time, a tireless recruiter (especially right when fleck left, helping sign many of our recruits) and by all accounts, a team leader and motivator. Your comments on this thread are starting to read like jealousy of an unfulfilled dream.

No "unfulfilled dream" here, bucky.

I was fortunate to play enough to earn a letter at WMU.

And I sincerely hope Spillane makes it in NFL. His play as a Bronco speaks for itself.

STOP IT!

Hokey was clear last year that the expectations going into last year were 100% on the admin and staff because they “said so!”

Wait, who else here is a mindless lemming who can’t form their own expectations contrary to what they say others said. The same ones that depend on others to motivate them?

I hope the ‘dashians don’t vote. “Well I heard ....”
