This is where a good beat writer would release this info. JMU officials can't talk about recruits publicly, but beat writers are normally their conduit to get the word out (that is, if it isn't found via recruit's twitter announcement first).

The offers aren’t anything crazy but nice to see that we were able to get a kid from Georgia with multiple offers from FBS schools in the area. Shows we’ve really made some strides to stretch our recruiting footprint.

Just watched some of Austin's tape he looks really good; nice vision, hard to take down, also returns punts and kicks. Not blazing speed more of a power back. Saw him break like 100 tackles in a game. Pretty impressive.

Very similar, maybe a little more size than Trai.

Greg Madia tweets that Austin Douglas also had an FBS offer from Ohio. The recruiting sites must have missed that one.

Maryland safety Qwuantrezz Knight (what a name) announces transfer from Maryland. Has 2 years of eligibility remaining. He may be contacting HCMH about joining the roster unless he wants to go closer to home (Florida).

The 247 school list always confuses me. It doesn't have an offer listed from any of the schools but has some high end programs on there like Georgia, Duke, UNC, etc. Does this mean those schools showed some varying level of interest in him and he may have taken unofficial visits to a few of them?

Assuming the offer list is accurate, which it always isn't, he was recruited in some capacity by all of these schools, i.e. talking to coaches, maybe some visits, but none offered a scholarship.

Looking at points scored the second half of the season, either he was hurt, or the rest of the offense was real bad.

I believe I read on the Liberty board that he really showed promise in some camps, but didn't show much improvement after that. Could have been surrounded by subpar teammates though. Played at the same high school as Tiki & Ronde Barber
