RE: 2019 FB Recruiting
Just finished watching all the tape of Adam McLean that I could find on Youtube. My takeaway is that he'd be perfect to rotate in with Greene and Atariwa. He's a pure run-stopper. I didn't see much pressure on the QB, but he was constantly double teamed. He blows up the pocket occasionally, allowing his DEs and LBs to make plays. I'm not sure he'd be a guaranteed starter, but I could see him playing a LOT of snaps in a rotation. He'd give us depth to keep our guys fresher, and more importantly, an insurance policy in case Greene or Atariwa get injured. All that said, I'd LOVE for us to land him.

A 305# starting DT from a P5 will always be welcome in Purple & Gold, and for all the reasons you’ve pointed out. A run-stopping, blow-up the pocket put pressure on the QB DT would help our CBs too. Hope he comes our way.

My thinking as well. Did notice he's following 4 coaches from Shepherd University on Twitter. Would think he could land a higher profile school than D2, but have no idea what he's looking for.

2019 FB Recruiting
We got a verbal commitment from Ricky Harleston from Tallwood HS in Virginia Beach.
He’s a safety and as far as I can tell, he’s class of 2019 and doesn’t appear to have any other scholarship offers per 24/7 or rivals.

A month ago on his Twitter account he mentioned South Carolina State was his 1st D1 offer.

Sounds like a preferred walk-on guy.
