Another bad day for Team Bueller
Quote:WASHINGTON, D.C. — Lawyers for Russian company Concord Management and Consulting, LLC, formally entered a “not guilty” plea in federal court Monday in a case special counsel Robert Mueller probably never thought would happen.

Mueller, weathering significant criticism that his Russian collusion case was thin, unveiled a grandiose indictment Feb. 16 against 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies. The 13 Russians in question were charged with waging “information warfare” in the United States, interfering with the 2016 presidential election, and conspiracy to defraud the United States.

Mueller may now have to try the case, and Concord’s lawyers have put the special counsel on notice. The Russian company’s lawyers intend to invoke “discovery” to obtain U.S. intelligence about what they knew of Russian activities.

“I guess Mueller thought it was a freebie, for sure,” former federal prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy told The Daily Caller News Foundation after the court proceeding.

“He thought it could make this association (of Russian collusion) and it would never be challenged in court,” McCarthy, also a National Review contributing editor, said.

McCarthy called Mueller’s entire indictment an “unforced error.”

“One thing you never want to do is to indict in a case that you’re not prepared to try,” McCarthy said.

Mueller tried to delay Wednesday’s hearing and floated a claim Concord had not been properly served notice.

Nothing. He has nothing. When the prosecution is reduced to arguing that they are not sure the defendant was "properly served" when the defendant is standing in court asking the judge for a trial date---they are essentially announcing to the world "we cant prove our case---and furthermore, we never thought we would have to". Mueller should save all his press clipping from the last year. Thats the last good press he will probably ever see.

What did they do that was illegal. I don’t get it. Post crap on Facebook? Good grief. They would have to arrest 90% of the idiots that reside there.
Americans should have some responsibility for deciding who they vote for. If some people were fooled by Russian trolling then it may have canceled out about 10% of those fooled by socialists trolls.

They're guilty as hell in all likelihood, but that's not the point. Indicting companies associated with this witch hunt could turn out to be a huge bone-headed move on his part as has already become evident. Foreign nationals (Russians) aren't going to show up to defend themselves in the US. That's a given. Companies can, and have shown up to defend themselves and he should have known better.

This crap was all window-dressing, headlines to get libs all hard, and make it look like he was making progress against his prime target. He should have left it with the individuals.

And nevermind that what these individuals and companies did, monkeying in US politics, it pales in comparison to we ourselves do all over the world.

If this gets tossed out because Beuller refuses to comply with discover requests, it's a huge black eye for him. He's painted himself into a corner, the dumass.

Well, first off---how is a country based on freedom of speech going to charge non-citizens who post stuff to an international forum from inside the borders of another nation with a crime? Is it only a crime if the prosecutor doesnt like the comments? Im pretty sure a crap load of anti-Trump stuff is flowing onto social media from all sorts of foreign nations. Is Mueller tracking that stuff down? I suspect not. The whole thing sounds like a lot like a frenzied stamping of feet just because the smartest women in America lost an election (largely because the smartest women in America spent too little time with grunt workers in Michigan and Pennsylvania while investing too much time hanging with the glittering stars in Hollywood).
