Still upset with all the Boyce voiding his NLI contract gossip.
I hope that ain't true and just a board troll making up drama.
UAB is surging up with football, construction and some of the other sports.

No offense to Boyce, but Memphis seems to be going after and getting higher rated guys than he is. As far as him working out with Memphis signees, they are his high school teammates. I don't think it means anything. It would not surprise me that Boyce wants to play at Memphis for his former coach and his teammates. That might be why he is playing down UAB. That said, I doubt there is space for him there.
I've seen no talk here in Memphis or anywhere on the Internet of Boyce to Memphis except on Blazertalk from someone with a reputation for trolling UAB fans.
Memphis is not after Boyce

Maybe I'm missing something but this article says that Memphis has no scholarships available. So that makes me think that they aren't going after Boyce.

Just playing devil's advocate, but there are ways around this...

They have six rising seniors none that are highly rated, and only one is from Memphis all five could be gone tomorrow if Penny Hardaway and Mike Miller decides too.
I hope Boyce stays, but if he leaves I hope it's tomorrow so eshan has time to fix things since Ryan is a huge part going forward. A lil uab love from Boyce would go a long way.

Well there is a fixed number of basketballs on the court in play at any one time. Maybe Boyce doesn't want to be 6th in line for touches.

Interesting thing is how Smallwood ended up at a better program than all the guards. He’s seven feet tall and you can’t teach that.....

To be honest, attitude issues aside, 10 years ago Lavender would have been a stud combo guard. He can get to the paint and has a good mid-range game, more importantly he can defend well for his size. In todays game though you have to be able to space the floor on offense; so having his man leaving him wide open at the three point line and basically playing free safety just killed our team offense when he was in the game.
WE messed up big time trying to turn him into a PG

Not a lotta choice there. The biggest mistake was not having a backup PG....
