The Huskies are the No. 7 seed and knocked off No. 2 seed Ball State. That made the Cardinals the only higher seed to lose in the opening round, something that adds to the notoriety of NIU's victory. Maybe mention that Ball State also swept a doubleheader here in DeKalb. Congrats to coach Sutcliffe and her team. Keep it going, Go Huskies!

It is double-elimination, so even if they lose, they still have a chance.

Much easier if you win today. You lose then you need to win three.

They got no-hit by Ohio. Must come out of the losers bracket now.

They beat Ball State again in the loser's bracket. Losing 2-0 to Ohio is the championship game. Still don't have a hit against the Bobcats.

For sure, Ohio has fantastic pitching. But the Huskies did really well and we should be proud of them!

Not a chance. They finished 24-32, that would not get you in to a secondary tournament.
