In fact, when we celebrate Wingett, Lomax, Hardaway, Jones and Harris as seniors, it will be a huge day for all Tiger fans. These 5 were there day 1 and got us back to the top.
I don't think Jones will be here for his Senior year.
Me either, but we'll see. I think he makes the jump before then.
It is possible...
But if his high school ranking is accurate it is highly unlikely he will be a first round pick as an underclassman.
It is highly unlikely anyone from this year's team is good enough for the NBA. If someone is, well, this season will be better than we thought.

RE: Welcome David Wingett
Many kids that play D1 basketball have aspirations of making the league. Some of those dreams are realistic and some aren’t. When managing expectations, at a minimum we need the virtual lock prospects (top 15) to always make it. If someone like Jones (or anyone from the current roster) makes it, then that’s a feather in your hat for player development. However, this is where we get ourselves into trouble. We see a local hero like JJ and assume he’s a shoe in for the league. The truth is he was a smallish 6’ shooting guard. He was a good college player, but how many of those do you know of in the league?

Dreams aren’t supposed to be realistic.
