Versatile. He can go right, left, step back and drain the jump shot. I like. But can he play defense?

Only disappointed because I clicked this hoping it would be Jamal Johnson. Seems like a good pickup regardless.

Is there a reason he will only have one year left?

Always good when someone commits to your school and the schools message board immediately has fans posting their disappointment that it isn't someone else.

Jeez we have horrible and stupid fans.

Bell played one year at a different university, that I’m not looking up how to spell, before he played two at Milwaukee. That’s why he’s a sit one, play one. Bright side is it gives us a spot for 2020. Maybe, playing against longer guards in practice for a year will help him get ready for CUSA.

Okay there, guy. Calm down. Literally said I was only disappointed because I initially thought it was Johnson. This is a message board for UAB fans to voice their opinions. I did exactly that, then said it was a good pickup.

Johnson coming off of a visit to Charlotte, is setting up visits to La tech and MTSU. Something like that.

I don't know that he meant you. Basically, no matter who signs, someone female dogs about them, that it wasn't someone else, or his height, or his defense, or something.

This is a fan site, sure, but if you don't think that recruits look those over to get a sense of a university they may not know much about, you're dreaming. We don't need to suck up to these kids we're recruiting, but keeping the negativity out of recruiting threads is just smart business. I'm certain that the coaches recruiting these guys would appreciate it.

Some recruits and players do. I know some specific players. Also our media and media for cities where other programs that recruit against us. I know that people say yada yada no big deal no one reads but things do get back to recruits here and on social media. I know for a fact it does. Even Coach Clark has tweeted about negativity and how harmful it is.

Aww come on guys ! You can't ask someone to stifle their inherent right to Bit#ch, Whine, & Complain. They obviously have a better grasp of the teams situation from the cheap seats than anyone in the locker room possibly could. And what better forum to voice their agenda and show off their profound intelligence that a social media board for all to read. You know some of these characters uh ...soothsayers, recruiting gurus, and brilliant tactical strategeryists...ACTUALLY played sports at some point. 03-lmfao 03-lmfao 05-stirthepot

Don't disagree that it was unlikely however he was the last transfer I had seen mentioned on here, so he was the only possibility I knew of.

Right, because batspit crazy posts attacking other fans aren't bound to scare recruits away. For the record, I've done none of the things you've mentioned.

The instances to which I was referring happened before you joined the board. It's been a burr under my saddle since HCJH was hired.

"He will have to sit out one year before suiting up for UAB. He’ll have one year of eligibility left."

This, I do not understand. Questionable!

You have to sit out a year when you transfer. He's played two already. Been a rule forever.

And he must have already sat one year. Players get 5 years to play 4 without a waiver.

No, he played a Juco year at Vincennes, which is an NJCAA school, then two years at Milwaukee, so this is the first time he has to sit out.

He was a Trailblazer at VU, so the Blazer name suits him well!

He might graduate from UAB in 1 year. He could then go and play for Penny if Wiseman doesn't work out. Got to keep options open.
