States rights. The possibility of unintended data leaks to unscrupulous characters (how many times have you had to change credit cards because of a data leak). Lots of reasons to resist that aren't because they thought it was sinister.

Need a refresher course? Apparently there are at least eight steps before you can "engage" a Ukrainian hooker.

Why would anyone be surprised by this? If it's connected to the Internet and it's government related, someone is trying to hack into the system. They are trying their best to do just that, right this very minute.

Not just the Russians but most every country in the world and you can bet the farm there's a U.S. group holed up in some office doing the very same type of crap. The Internet is the front door, it might be locked but it's still the safest, easiest, quickest way to to steal or destroy from another government.

Anyone that does not think the previous president did not know this was going on is walking through life with blinders on. If he didn't, then it must not been thought of as a threat big enough to alert the President.

Which is easier, hacking, or putting spies on the ground? As I said you can bet the farm, the U.S., Russia, China, Saudi's, Israel, Japan, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, NK, and all of the Middle Eastern countries. All have team of hackers probing to find ways into other government systems.

Other than Nukes...it could be the most powerful weapon in the world and you don't have to step a foot into a country you want to disrupt or destroy. That is the new race that is going on. So again why would anyone be surprised by this low level hacking?
