Wallner has to work on his secondary stuff. Plus velocity but teams are just sitting back on the fastball.

Maack absolutely should have been tossed there.

Team is butthurt. They should be. Got outplayed a majority of the weekend.

I'd bet my left nut if you make him a closer as a DH exclusively, he'd have the opportunity to hone his ability.....

At least the “fold like a cardboard suitcase” TTT moment came earlier this year. We got it over with quicker.

It's really astounding how predictable we are. TTT just at the right time. On the hosting bubble and what do we do, lose the first series of the year. Why oh why do I not bet against USM when it matters most...I could be a damn millionaire.

They aren’t going to DH Wallner. That’d kill his draft stock. Not many DHs are taken in the draft, certainly not in the 1st round.

I fully understand the 'why'.....

however, that's a next year thingy.....

we needed a closer all year long.....that was ignored.....we had an opportunity to see if he would develop into that as a permanent role....

we could've easily developed him as a closer this year and put him at RF/closer next year......
