Oh, no. Not complaining at all about that. DW is hitting the ground running. But we still need to sign three for this coming season. And maybe they are already hooked, and we just have not yet reeled them in.

If he signs anymore other than Sr transfers we would not have any scholarships for 2019. I understand he’s saving 2 or 3 for 2019. We have 10 players and would pick up a couple of walk Ins to have plenty to practice. We rarely play more than 10 significant minutes so I think that’s a good strategy until he can balance out the classes.

Agree. But of course you are always playing Russian roulette with injuries.

He said he was saving the other scholarships. Makes since, to me since he has no seniors to graduate this year. Course if could get a 5th year senior I bet he would jump on it.

I would imagine he is scouring the country for graduate transfers.

I assume that would be the plan. I also would think he could get a really high quality "walk-on" or two, by offering them a one-year scholarship. After that one year, they could continue as a nonscholarship athlete here, transfer to a DII school where they could get a scholarship, or conceivably prove themselves deserving of a scholarship a la Matt Mouzy.

There’s always that 6-11 foreign guy that was mentioned but never expounded upon on here. Wish ez would elaborate on what he heard.
