I think Herring is gonna be better than people think. He can do something that ECU QBs haven’t been able to do: put the ball in the receiver’s hands. Not just throwing to an area and just hoping somebody is good enough to jump over the coverage to get it, but actually passing the ball.
That’s something that will put you over a good deal of NCAA QBs.

We’re gonna find out how good Hicks is this year. Sutton and Quinn bailed him out on a lot of balls last year and he doesn’t have them to go to any more, but he does have a good line, good RBs and a solid target in Proche. He could end up higher than fourth but could also drop a few spots as well. Jury’s still out.
Nice read^^^. Milton, without doubt the man. Hicks (gave UCF a run for their money last year) and King should improve. SMU does have backups not mentioned in Peavey (4* out of UArkansas, who has yet to impress) plus early enrollee Freshman Brown who was on fire in Spring and Upshaw, Soph, with a good Spring but yet to play a college game. Let's hope all AAC QBs stay healthy.
Have no clue outside of Milton. He's easily #1 and it's not even close. Obviously when the season starts things can change especially for some of the QB's we've never seen play, but definitely as of right now.

Hicks was good last yet but the real star for SMU was that massive WR that just went in the draft. He caught so many passes that would have otherwise been incomplete. He even had 1st Rounder Mike Hughes on him the entire game and still made circus catches.

I think QB will be a strong position this year, but I understand why we're where we are on this list. Lots of unknowns.
With Reid having a couple of years in the system, sitting on back to back #1 NC QB picks from the past two years, and the (seemingly) open competition to start, I think we'll bring out the best in all three guys.

We pretty much shut down sutton and tre actually. It was Proche who torched UCF for 170+ yards and a TD. Since hes coming back I think hicks will have plenty of talent to throw to still.

We have a couple of good WR grad transfers coming that will be announced soon

Perry was two time all-state in TN...but at a smaller school, I want to say AA classification...at 5'9" 185, the only offers were from the three service academies.
Was in Memphis for the week on business, I also am former player so get some info here and there. This is what I was told. Staff was sure Brady Davis was transferring after spring, Brady white was brought in to create and keep competition for David Moore. They feel David Moore has potential to be better than Lynch or Ferguson, that’s what I was told.

The Tigers will have a realistic opportunity to win the AAC next season with a QB similar to Lynch and Ferguson's ability, IMO.

With a healthy defense this year I think that is an understatement.
