What I took away from this past weekend

I would not call App's win against UTA as impressive. Louisiana, Coastal, Little Rock, South Alabama would be impressive. UTA has had a severe lack of timely hitting, has starting pitching that on its best day is iffy and has played uninspired ball much of the year.

Our only bright spot is a couple of relievers and two guys who like to hit home runs when no one is on base.

We've played terrible all season, a conference road sweep is pretty damn impressive for a team performing as poorly as we have been.

Yet I got ridiculed for saying that we should have won that series against you guys.

Georgia Southern has definitely had a nice stretch so far. How long can they maintain it?

Ya'll really need to beat Kennesaw State (whom you've had a lot of trouble with the past few years)... losing again to Kennesaw I feel would halt some of your momentum.

App beating any one is impressive. At one point this season pitchers were being moved out in to the field.

GS beat Kennasaw St 9-3 tonight.

AState pitched none of our normal pen guys, and lost by 150 to UCA. Something about needing a healthy group to be ready for Georgia Southern...yada yada yada

Troy's blowing their at-large chances right out of the water. Pure-stupid baseball by the players and coaches these past 5 games.

Troy takes an 8-7 lead over Mississippi State in the T9, only to let them tie it up in the B9. Then, as usual, Mississippi State scores the winning run in the 10th on a foolish throwing error by the pitcher.

Troy's RPI will wind up in the 60's or 70's at this rate. Unbelievable choke job.

I was following that game. Troy gets four in the ninth. Damn.....

And, they used their top reliver 42 pitches. Hope they don't need him Friday night. That's a lot of pitches to come back on one day rest.

At least go a nice win last night 5-2 over the tar holes
