OT: Oregon St sends recruit mail to current Hawaii player

Early Friday morning, Hawaii coach Nick Rolovich accused Oregon State of tampering with current players, which is an NCAA violation. On Twitter, Rolovich shared photos of a recruiting packet Oregon State had sent to a current Hawaii athlete—that had been addressed to the university.
“My apologies for our players not being able to attend your Spring game,” Rolovich tweeted. “Ours was the same day, bad timing. Quick question, in the 203 years of coaching, none of you realized you couldn’t actively recruiting another school’s players? Sent to campus? #leakydam #sloppybeavers.”
Contacting a current student-athlete is considered tampering, which is prohibited according to NCAA rules.
Rolovich didn’t let up, either. When a Portland-area blog posted a story on the situation with the headline, “Oregon State Football accidentally tries to recruit University of Hawaii football players?” Rolovich retweeted it with the comment, “‘Accidentally.’ Thank goodness, I feel so much better.”
An Oregon State spokesman said the program is “currently investigating the matter.”

Hawaii will get sanctions because it was Oregon State trying to steal players and they found out.

Oregon St will get the dreaded letter of reprimand. And they’ll use the defense of “we’re using our mistake as a learning tool to all G5 schools” to which the NCAA will applaud their efforts.

The NCAA will pull something out of their arses, and put Hawaii on probation thus allowing it's players to transfer to Oregon St.
