Perhaps because their oversight function is not limited to a single investigation?
perhaps Nunes is running interference for the President?
Perhaps. But wouldn't you feel more comfortable if you knew the truth? As of now, we don't.
We will, but I do not think the President, if he is, in fact, subpoenaed, is entitled to know what Mueller knows... and that's what the Nunes is trying to provide.
Appears we're talking about two different things.
I was referencing the originating document for the investigation of collusion with Russians and the FBI footdraggin in general. If the investigation was launched on faulty and unverified intelligence provided and funded by an opposing candidate's campaign, then there would a case to be made that there never should have been an investigation in the first place and we wouldn't be having this conversation today. We could be talking about the horrors of Trump taping his ties or something along those lines.

If we have done half the things that Trump and them have done? We would be in a prison cell for years on end.
Why would it not be “fair” to pass this end documents on to Manafort or Trump? In Trumps case, he isn’t the chief executive of the US and isnt the justice Department still part of the executive branch of the government. In Manafort’s case, prosecutors are required to reveal all eveidence against an accused (including evidence that may be exculpatory) prior to trial. Both have every reason to see any and all documents related to the case.

Some of the stuff connected to Manafort have to do with the Russians being indicted. Israel was not happy that Trump gave them secret intelligence what they found. Trump is not trusted with secret info when he blurts these things out to the enemy. Israel thinks Russia and Putin is their enemy.
