Malik Riddle - Rossville Christian?
Looking down 247sports 2018 composite list at uncommitted players, I came across Malik Riddle from Rossville Christian, 6'4 SG, ranked #162 in the nation.

8th 'best' uncommitted player in the class of 2018.
Offers only from USF, ETSU, and other mid majors.
Interest from Memphis, UT, UVA, Moo State
He's only ranked 15 spots behind Lomax.
He's a 'Shooting' Guard.
He's in our backyard.

Whats the scoop on this kid? I'm guessing he's under the radar due to playing at Rossville. Anyone know anything about him? How good is he really? If he is a shooter, seems like a potential fit similar to Wingett if Penny is trying to get one more shooter on board.

Edit: Mods pls move to Recruiting Forum. My bad.

I've seen him play. Rossville plays in the private league with ECS, FACS, TRA, USJ and JCS from Jackson . . . (my son is at TRA). So not the greatest competition.

Riddle was dominant, best player in that league. Played for M33M, Miller's old AAU team.

It's hard to tell if he had interest from Tubby or Penny.

he wasn't in the composite 150, so he was definitely a Tubby target

Yeah, seeing the other schools that have offered that's probably true.

It's funny, I went to H.S. out in Fayette County (a long time ago). This might be the 1st time I can think of that one of the private schools had the best player from out there as opposed to the public school.

Uh, what about Skal Labissere at ECS or Austin Nichols at Briarcrest, etc.

Both of them went to school in Shelby County, not Fayette County

His name came up last year. Tubby's staff evaluated him but never offered. With guards we have and are targeting, I doubt he's a current prospect. But if he was M33M, I guess you never know.
