A little concerned that FB fell off a bit especially considering the skill players we are losing. I trust Coach Norvell. It would be nice to know how he truly felt about his class.

I think that probably is the reason it fell ...

Taking the average recruit rating, it’s still 8th. This removes the small class issue...just not a great class. BUT, 2016 we were 3rd and ‘17 we were 2nd. We should be fine as long as we have a strong 19 class

I think it has more to do with Norvell’s uncertainty of returning for this year. 19 looks amazing early for us with an 88 average. If we can keep that average (l o n g shot), it would easily be our best class ever and probably top 20 in the nation

1 in the AAC bodes very well for next year's campaign.

The combination of returning contributors
Martin - leading scorer
Parks - good big man
Thornton, Davenport, Brewton and Enoh, all contributed and got good experience last season.

Add in the new guys and we should be competing for AAC title and NCAA, where's the tournament this year?

Plus we are still looking for one or 2 more, so our #28 will probably go up a few more spots.

Early signing period is a two sided sword. We are able to get some 3s and an occasional 4, signed before the big guys swoop in late to fill out their classes. But it also allows a number of 2 stars to sign early before they are recruited over and they move on to smaller schools.
