They currently are believed to be convalescing in a hotel outside Pyongyang.

“We believe that Mr. Trump can take them back on the day of the U.S.-North Korea summit, or he can send an envoy to take them back to the U.S. before the summit,” said Choi Sung-ryong, an activist pursuing release of North Korea’s political prisoners.

KJ-u is a mystery at this point. I guess we will just play along until we find out what he wants and where all of this heads. I have a feeling either the Chinese got to him or he has come to the realization that his country is out of resources and his only hope to remain in power is radical change that would at the same time make him a hero to his people. It is also entirely possible that his nuclear program has literally imploded under him and can not be revived. Reports have his facility destroyed and his program with it. He may not at this point know that this information has leaked outside of NK.

Im not holding my breath on any of this stuff at this point. I will say though if NK comes through with what is being proposed?....Trump is going to have one hell of accomplishment to pitch(regardless of his involvement) to America in 2020. We laugh about the Nobel..but..I would not say that is out of the question. Ending the NK threat and bringing that nation back into the civilized world would be one of the greatest accomplishments of any POTUS in our lifetimes. Im talking about "man on the moon" type schit.

The committee wouldn't give it to Trump if there were irrefutable proof he single handedly made it happen.

They would likely give the first to fatboy, then China and maybe a third to the South K's.

60 years of American squeeze would be totally snubbed.

Totally agree. And as I mentioned earlier, if he nixes the Iran deal, it will be impossible for him to get it.

Mostly agree. However, we're likely decades from bringing NK back to the civilized world. The human rights abuses and stench of communism will takes years to unravel.

It will take several generations for them to regain proper heights. They are damn near dwarfs.

Probably so. We do however constantly underestimate how quickly things change. With todays communication and logistics...they happen pretty damn fast. I agree the stigma of their oppressive past will take time. They are totally brainwashed. Id submit though within a generation that would change. 20 years is a blink of the eye now. I have a Madza CX9 that was made in Hiroshima. When I saw that on the door it stopped me in my tracks. I would expect a much faster rate of change in NK.
