QB, MLB

Strong
OL, DB
Coaching staff

Fine
RB, WR, DL

Inexperience at QB could cost us some games early in the season...

The Trojans lost a lot of leadership that the coaches built on the past two years. I agree with the statement about depth and them being more talented this year but I was on the sideline last year and the leadership was unreal. Coach Brown is a great coach and I know he is working hard each day to develop them into leaders. Question I am asking is; will he find the Sam Lebbies, Seth Calloway's, Jordan Chunn's and Josh Anderson's and many more out of the 22 that has moved on to replace them. Not to sound negative but you can have depth and all the talent in world, without leadership to follow you could up like an Auburn Tiger after a National Championship win

RB depth is thin after Jalin Moore.

Replacing multiple all-conference OLs.

New Defensive Coordinator, who has no experience at that position.

New starting linebackers replacing four-year starters.

Besides our deep WR corp, strong secondary, Satt still being head coach and the inability of anyone to prove otherwise, I don't see how we win a game in 2018.

Harrington's injury at RB leaves us with less depth than we had hoped for, but moving Evans back to RB seems to address that. Marcus Williams is a solid backup for Moore, and Harper is supposed to be good also. I'm hoping some of our unproven talent steps up and allows us to move Evans back to WR. I'm cautiously optimistic but couldn't argue with your assessment.

My biggest concern remains the OL simply because I don't have a feel. It's going to be tough to replace Gossett and Nunn.

There was some leadership on the field last year, but nothing like back years ago when we had leaders like Levi Brown, Boris Lee, Bear Woods, etc - I think we will be able to replace them... these kids want to win fb games. They beat LSU last year, they now know its possible. However, QB performance will be the deciding factor IMO.

Strengths: Beer sold in the stadium

Weaknesses: Lack of winning games for the last three years

Not to be a "Debbie Downer," but you forgot a few negatives such as:

. . . our poor excuse for an AD, Larry.

.... our pitiful Attendance, but the upside of that is more beer for the faithful who do show up.

. . . General apathy about the program that stems from decades of losing.

Losing 87 career starts on the right side of the line is a huge concern. Think we have the athletes to replace Boggs, Stringer and Howard on defense, but the experience factor is another story. Depth at RB is crucial, WR is be a big surprise, whether or not we can get the ball to those guys is another story. Not convinced Thomas has the QB job sewed up. Watch out for dark horse candidate Peyton Derrick, he can make all the throws.
