MAC in the NFL draft
A few MAC players were drafted...

Western Michigan's Chukwiuma Okorafor in the 3rd round to Pittsburgh, they've had a bit of success with MAC players in the past - they had a MAC player on the All-Pro team this year, Roosevelt Nix

Central Michigan's TE Tyler Conklin went to the Vikings in the 5th round

The Bengal's picked Western Michigan's DB Darius Phillips in the 5th round and Toledo's QB Logan Woodside in the 7th round

Ohio's LB Quentin Poling went in the 7th round to the Dolphins

I think everyone pretty well knew that this year's draft class would be very thin after last year's bounty harvest for the NFL.

I posted elsewhere that if the Lions had been able to draft Davis, Moton, Hunt, Golliday, Roberts, etc (say rounds 1 - 5) I'd take that draft happily. #MACattack A WR, another WR, RB, TE, OG.

The Lions are projected to start both Golliday and Roberts this year. http://www.mlive.com/expo/erry-2018/04/7...rt_m-rpt-2
