Duke/K: building a strong relationship. watching a lot of his games. great program and school he's "interested in for sure"

Kansas/Self: great experience on USA team with Self. hall of fame coach who knows alot about the game. learned a lot in those 2 weeks and what "we have to do in college, so it is great with Kansas"

UK/Calipari: develop a lot of guys and put into NBA. a program he feels he could fit in well at.

Minnesota: commentary about his brother and been to the school a lot. he's watching how he and the team progresses this year.

UNC: likes how they win consistently. says it feels great to hear from UNC. great program and winning is important to him. says it's an intriguing school.

Memphis: strong relationship with Miller; talks similarities with Miller in their games. Miller recruiting him really hard. great staff and a good relationship with them.

He also mentioned Indiana. they are telling him to come to Indiana and shock the world and win a national title.

To me he seems to be keying in on winning programs based on his words. In my opinion if he believes he is a one and done he had that one year to do it. Hardaway and staff have no track record in college. I think that hurts (no pun intended) us with him despite the relationship he may have with Miller. In other instances he defines certain aspects of each school as either "great" or "good". The combination of these 2 things I believe gives a little insight to what he might be thinking now. I'm not saying it is no shot but I definitely think it's uphill.

Conspiracy theory:

What if players or coaches or whomever are asking the recruits to mention Memphis in conversations about blue bloods in their media interviews?

Or maybe they are just doing it because they really like Memphis.

Either way, it's great for Memphis to be mentioned alongside blue bloods.

Other high level prospects can start to get familiar with Memphis again and see that players who have offers from the Kentuckys, Dukes, UNCs of the world are strongly considering and may pick Memphis over perennial FF teams.

To me he seems to be keying in on winning programs based on his words. In my opinion if he believes he is a one and done he had that one year to do it. This is true. It is certainly an uphill battle. But the comments I've heard from Hurt and his dad indicate Memphis will almost certainly get a visit at least.
