JOB NEAR ME

It lists ROOFING on there on the damn photo. That's back breaking labor, not a career you'd expect after getting a bachelors. You're hurting your case not helping it.

I never said everybody should get a 4 year degree. I agree with and support Mike Rowe. But we're talking about people playing COLLEGE football not high school football. The school and the athlete were complicit in selling a lie of laziness and ease that will ultimately be a financial disservice to the student athlete. If things get too far out of hand it will ultimately do a financial and reputation disservice to the school itself. If you spent four years in a major university where the education was provided for free and your post graduation options include roofing you have egregiously ****ed up.

I disagree. How in the hell do you have three Top 100 picks and finish 9-4? Six in the top 150?

I thought the loss to S Carolina was all about mental breakdowns (some on the part of the coaches, too). The Wolfpack doubled-up the Gamecocks in terms of yardage, yet still managed to find a way to lose. Totally unacceptable!

The loss to Wake Forest was similar: 3 turnovers negated a 170-yard advantage.

11-2 would've been a reasonable record for this level of talent.

NC State needs to learn to maintain concentration for the full 60 minutes - which is coaching. Obviously the recruiting side is fine.

I agree with you on everything, if it were up to me I would have canned Doeren before last season. Let's be real; last season may have been NCST's peak under Doeren, if you are a NCST fan and ok with these results then by all means keep him; he is consistent at being mediocre. Otherwise if you believe your football program is greater than the results displayed after last season (which I personally believe they are capable of more); then you may want to consider letting him go after this upcoming season when he inevitably finishes in the 6-6\ 7-5 range.

I'm not exactly "happy" with last years results. However, based on the improvement from the previous year, I'm ok with giving him 1 more year. As I said in the "hot seat" thread, He's not on the hot seat but it is in the room.

And Joe Anaoi went to Georgia Tech. Both are not the outcomes you'd hope for people with four year degrees from an elite academic institution. And maybe that's just what they wanted, and if so fine. But wrestling is just like football: physically punishing with a time limited career. And if you think the talent pool for the NFL is small ... just how many "roster spots" do you think the WWE hands out?

Maybe Miami is morphing into a vocational school.

It would fit Miami quite well, it's kinda like the city of Miami itself; being very expensive for little\ pedestrian substance.

Well, in South Florida they do have advanced classes in tile roofing... most places only teach the asphalt-based.

The pic did say union roofing, so that would say that it would focus more on industrial/commercial than residential.
