It also requires persons of color and poorer Texans to spend more time getting their voter ID sorted due to the fact that they move more frequently. That's not a coincidence.
And of course, the favorite ID of white nationalists, the CCL, is an acceptable form of ID, but a Texas student ID is not. That's not a coincidence.
You mean like we already do if you drive a car or use a fake ID? Nothing new in this law at all. If you want social security you need a Social Security card. Hows that different? If you want to travel you have to pay for a passport. We have a long history of requiring ID to exercise basic rights in this country.
As for acceptable forms of ID---try to get any form of federal assistance with just a student ID. If your pulled over by police, give them a student ID instead of a drivers license. See how that conversation goes.
We live in a country where most everyone has a drivers license, yet less than 50% of the eligible population votes. Doesnt every state require voters to register prior to voting? How is that different? If you really want to vote, you'll be able to vote. The fact you have to actually get off your azz and get a acceptable ID is not barrier to voting any more than requiring a voter to register, identify the nearest polling place, and then drive to the voting location.
Stop it, you're making too much sense for Tommy to grasp. Demons will be demons, always trying to lie about things that aren't true. Everyone knows you need an ID already for everything, yes, everything. Even if you visit the doc's office they ask for an ID to verify you're the person using an insurance card. They even ask for your SSN on the forms but I never fill that out.
That’s rasist and you clearly hate black and brown peoples...

Desperate beto is sending illegal text messages to people's personal cell phones without their express consent. I just got a message from kate, asking if they could count on my vote.
I screenshot and sent this along with, "No, I support Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)".
Quote:Political campaign-related prerecorded voice or autodialed calls (including autodialed live calls, prerecorded voice messages, and text messages) are:
Prohibited to cell phones, pagers, or other mobile devices without the called party's prior express consent.
