Good job 1983.
However, we're back down to 10th. About 40 out of 9th.

Really need to get in the top 9. They pick at large squads, but that is only four. And we get the defending champs (Overseas Elite will be the one seed and they are 19-0, having won the last three and never losing. I saw them beat Ram Nation at the regional final in Brooklyn).
This region will be tough. Here is last year's region:

1 seed Overseas Elite will be the top seed as the returning champ and they are in.
2 seed will almost assuredly be Ram Nation again (the region plays on the VCU home floor too, so they have home court). PLus Eric Maynor and Reggie Wiliams are going to run again.
Once we're looking 3-4-5 seeds, that's where we come in. Wake will get eligible. Memphis will be right there (most experienced team).
Very important to get that 3 seed, want to avoid Overseas as long as possible.
I'm assuming it looks like:
1. Overseas Elite
2. Ram Nation (VCU Alum)
3-4-5-6 pretty close
- Memphis State Alum (us)
- Wake the Nation (Wake Forrest Alum)
- Brothers Dat Ball (last year's 6 seed)
- Purple and Black (KState Alum, not set yet, but a big fan base, they can get 1,000 votes in a day).
It's a mess, really need to get that 9th voted in spot. The TBT committee picks the at large squads on quality, but also story line.
We've got story lines in our region, including the UMBC alums.
