NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — The Latest on Bill Cosby's sexual assault retrial (all times local):

Bill Cosby has been convicted of drugging and molesting a woman in the first big celebrity trial of the #MeToo era.

A jury outside Philadelphia convicted the "Cosby Show" star of three counts of aggravated indecent assault on Thursday. The guilty verdict came less than a year after another jury deadlocked on the charges.

Cosby was charged with violating Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. His lawyer called Constand a "con artist" who leveled false accusations against Cosby so she could sue him.

Cosby could get up to 10 years in prison on each of the counts.

It all went downhill for Bill after he gave the "Pound cake" speech.

According to the Associated Press, Cosby went on a profanity laced tirade in the court room after the conviction.

At 80 years old probably a 50/50 chance he dies in prison.......

I don't expect him to serve over 5 years before paroled if he admits his guilt. But my guess is he wont admit it and gets a flop till he serves out or tells a parole board what they want to hear.

I'm not even surprised.

BTW I want to point out......the DA used statements Bill Cosby made in a lawsuit to help convict him. The man should have took the 5th. Bill Cosby is a pervert and was big in a time actors or famous people did want they wanted and got away with it. I do think he's guilty but have a problem with convicting someone in a different world than when the crime happened

I hope he gets the appropriate sentence.

It was a crime in any era. It was sad to see. He made a lot of people laugh. But it seems pretty obvious the verdict was correct. This wasn't like being convicted for pinching a women on the tush.

Seems to me like he has good grounds for an appeal with the testimony from women unrelated to this incident. I've heard of this in the punishment phase, but never during the trial.

I remember watching this show every week back in the day. When the allegations surfaced it was almost unbelievable, now I hope he gets the appropriate sentence.

Just shows you that you never really know about a person certainly not an actor.

There's a way to get that testimony in so long as the proponent can demonstrate why it's not just plain old character evidence, which is inadmissible. It looks like the state argued that these women should be allowed to testify to show a common plan or scheme and that type of evidence is ok. I do think there's merit to Cosby's argument that allowing 5 of these women to testify would overshadow the actual facts of the case, but good luck getting that overturned on appeal.
