Tiger football has made great strides over the past four years. It is still a pleasurable experience reading articles predicting a strong record next season. I do not take it for granted.

Yo, Memphis, I'm really happy for you, I'mma let you finish, but technically the road to the West runs through Annapolis, as both Memphis and Houston return to Annapolis.

Sure. Navy has certainly proven itself in this conference. Very hard to defend.

Number one in combined attendance/tix sales+contrib $ (self generated rev) is a distinct possibility. It'll be interesting to see how many come out/support each major sport with excitement surrounding both at the same time.

Imagine if we can both get to the last game unscathed. Matchup of 2 AAC undefeated teams would mean another incredible year for the conference going into TV negotiations

Really, I was being pedantic more than fishing for Navy props. See, both those teams will travel..
Okay I'll stop now

Yeah! Probably both teams go undefeated! And win national championships. Has that ever happened?

Don't laugh, while G5 football will never win a national championship under the current system ---- Memphis could very well win one in basketball.

Yes, Tiger football doesn't really need the boost from the newly enthused basketball program, but I think that might bleed over to some additional support for football.

We could easily lead the league in basketball attendance next year, and football is certainly a possibility at 40,000. Of course it depends on our record, and our home schedule sure aint the most attractive OOC.

I doubt seriously if Memphis comes close to winning the AAC in basketball, but imho we'll be much improved from last year and could sneak in the tourney on the bubble. We'll certainly win some games we're not supposed to.
