Did Comey Hire Fitzgerald to protect him from Prosecution
Guess who else was given those classified memos? So Comey has hired Richman and Fitzgerald?

The James Comey memos that leaked to the media and were a catalyst for the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller were more widely shared than previously known, three sources familiar with the matter tell Fox News.

Sources identified former U.S. Attorney and special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald as the likely recipient, and did not rule out a third individual, in addition to Columbia law professor Daniel Richman, who shared contents with the media. The memos documenting Comey’s private conversations with the president are now the subject of a Justice Department Inspector General review over the presence of classified information.

That makes me chuckle.

This really is an intriguing story.

If true, if Fitzgerald received copies of the memos from Comey and they thereafter decided it would be best for Comey to officially hire Fitzgerald to provide both with attorney-client protection, then someone, somewhere, has some serious inside info on Comey and that must scare the crap out of him.

What I'm saying is, under normal circumstances, who would know such a thing as a hand-off of those documents had happened? I can't see either Comey or Fitzgerald revealing that to anyone they didn't trust.
