Much to the disappointment of liberals everywhere most conservatives will agree with you.
If the government does not have the legal authority to confiscate his weapons, what makes you think his dad does? The shooter is over 21 years of age is he not? If so, dad's out of the picture, as far as I'm concerned. Unless somehow dad was supposed to be able to see into the future?

While I agree if the father is charged the only possibility of a conviction I see is maybe Illinois law (and even then I'm not sure because I'm not familiar with what their laws say) because once again the government didn't do it's job and make it to where this individual was barred from buying or possessing firearms. He wasn't a convicted felon and the government didn't pursue the legal process of declaring him mentally unfit. As much as I hate it I don't see where the father can be convicted of federal charges here.
So once again we have a failure of the government to act prior to a mass shooting.

i dont think he had a religious ideology that told its followers to kill all the non believers.
he thought taylor swift was stalking him, tried to jump the white house fence and committed the crime naked from the waist down but wearing a jacket.
im not sherlock holmes but i think the reason why he did this is pretty obvious.
but yeah, im not surprised the left is trying to race bait.
